    Called simply to start the process to get an inhaler as I have had asthma since I was in 2nd grade and was told that the doctor would have to review my basic information to see if the doctor would be willing to see me as a patient. Never received a call back. Horrible patient care!

    Communication is terrible. On Sunday I emailed a request to become a new patient using the email form on the office web site. The office hadn't replied 48 hours later, so Tuesday morning I phoned the office. I was asked a lot of questions -- which is fine -- and was told that the doctor had to give his approval and that when he did give his approval, the office would call me back for an appointment date/time. I was led to believe that it would be that day. I didn't hear anything. So this morning (fourth day now) I called AGAIN to see if doctor had give his approval. I was told that the office was VERY busy and that she (the phone receptionist?) hadn't had a chance to talk to the doctor yet, but that she would talk to him and call me back. Because I didn't hear from the office AGAIN, I called back just before closing just now, and I was told that the doctor wasn't in today. What?? I asked her why she didn't tell me that this morning, and I didn't get a good answer. So I just called another doctor -- with great ratings -- and I have an telemed appointment tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. See how simple things can be? Also -- and this bothered me -- I was told by the office that the doctor 'would probably take me as a patient because I wasn't on any controlled substances'. I didn't ask for clarification -- she was SO BUSY -- but I guess if a prospective patient is on "controlled substances" -- he doesn't see them. Well, not a concern of mine anymore -- because I will never ever see this doctor. //// In reply to the office: Yes, it was "unfortunate". Too bad you didn't apologize for jerking me around. I have NO idea where all those 5-star reviews came from.
