Arsenic & White Lace

Emilia was an AMAZING photographer to work with. My husband and I are not super comfortable in front of the camera and we were nervous about wedding photos. Not only did Emilia make us feel natural and comfortable, but the end result was absolutely stunning. We are obsessed with the photos she took and will cherish them forever. The aesthetic was perfect and she captured our joy in a beautiful and effortless way. I also really appreciated the first conversation I had with her when we were picking vendors and she was so honest and communicative and put into words exactly what I wanted. Book her!

From the second we saw the images on the Arsenic and White Lace website we knew Emilia had the eye and aesthetic we wanted for our big day! She was prompt in responding after we reached out and answered all of our questions with the care of a friend, which was nice during the sometimes hectic moments of wedding planning. The day of, Emilia was like a magician getting all of the planned group shots done with ease and because she was wonderful at wrangling everyone together quickly we had extra time to capture even more photos outside of the venue! She then captured some of our favorite candid photos of the guests enjoying dinner and tearing up the dance floor! We could not recommend Emilia and Arsenic and White Lace enough, she was so lovely to work with from start to finish and captured the perfect images that we will forever cherish! Jarod and Luis

We had a wonderful experience with Emilia from start to finish. It goes without saying that we loved her artistic sensibilities and her beautiful candid photos. But what really impressed me was how thoughtful and organized she was. We had a couple of meetings ahead of time to discuss our vision, our shot lists etc and I felt like she took this off my plate so I could really focus on other things. There were a million things to worry about for our wedding and I never once felt like our photos were one of them. I can’t stress this enough! Once we hired her, I didn’t think twice about this aspect of our wedding day because I knew it was well in hand. And then even better, the day of, she was so patient with all of our (divorced) parents and had everyone laughing and at ease for our family photos. At a point in our day that could have been high-stress, she was unobtrusive, hospitable and kind. It made it so much easier for us to know that we would have beautiful photo albums for all of our parents long after the wedding day. Of course the best part of all was that our photos are gorgeous and we are still enjoying them two years later!

My husband and I were both extremely pleased working with Emilia throughout the entire wedding cinematography process. She was able to capture not only the important moments in our day, but also all of the special details, and edit them into a beautiful final piece. She is a non-intrusive videographer that was conscious and respectful of the rules and regulations of our church venue. She was willing and dedicated to work with us, and our photographer, to make the day as smooth and stress free as possible. Her style of filming and editing is refined and beautiful, and we are so pleased to have such a wonderful wedding video we can re-watch for years to come.
