My husband was a huge Springsteen fan and I so badly wanted to create an all Bruce playlist for the visitation, but I was in too much shock & grief to accomplish it. When we walked into the visitation room, Springsteen was playing and continued throughout the whole visitation. I didn't ask, & they didn't know that I wanted that so badly. I'll always be grateful to them. They go over and above.

This funeral home charged my mother for graveside services than didn't show up for my fathers interment. Add in that they stole my fathers military flag and replaced it with a cheap knock-off that the color guard couldn't use for my father's services and I would recommend every veteran stay away from this place. They do not carte about veterans.

From the very start of our meeting with Richard, to all of the others we encountered including Gianna, Brianna, Julie (I know I'm leaving someone out), my family and I were given utmost respect and compassion during the days after my mother's death. They followed our lead with our requests for the funeral and worked with us each step of the way. Having pre-arrangements done several years back made the process so much easier so that important decisions had already been made. My family and I just concentrated on our memories and what paintings we wanted to display of our talented mother's artwork. It was a week between her death and the funeral so that gave us enough time to collect our memories of photos. The video that the staff created was so beautiful and well organized. So many little details were handled for me by Gianna and the others; it made the whole experience very smooth and complete. Thank you all for this very important work that you do and we highly recommend McGuinness Funeral Home to handle your loved ones care.
