The Goddard School of Woodbridge

I seldom pick up my grandchild but when I do it usually is before 5PM. The classroom has the strongest Clorax smell because they clean the tables after 4. This is not a healthy environment for children to be in. The classrooms should be cleaned after all children go home and NOT WHEN THEY ARE IN THE ROOM. THEY ARE BREATHING IN TOXINS. VERY SURPRISED . I ASKED IF SOMEONE HAD VOMITTED AND THEY SAID NO. I told the teacher at least open the door to air out the BAD CLORAX ODOR. PARENTS PLEASE VOICE YOUR OPINION ABOUT THIS. IF IT IS ONLY THE WIPES MADE WITH CLORAX, THERE ARE OTHER WIPES ON THE MARKET THAT DO THE JOB AND DO NOT HAVE THE STRONG CLORAX SMELL.

My daughter has been attending the Goddard since she turn 1. The school has been great for her learning and overall development. This year I know that she will be leaving ready for Kindergarten. She has learned basic Spanish, Math and sight words for early reading development. On social side she has a whole group of friends and loves making new friends where ever we go. Goddard has encouraged her to shine bright at every age.

Excellent teachers and support staff. We loved teachers and they always nice to talk and gives you update on how your child doing. Thank you for your service from bottom of our hearts.

If your child is not a robot, this is not the school for you! The owner, Noel, will sell you with his love, dedication, and caring for the school/children, but in the end, hes just a business man trying to make an EASY dollar. After being there for almost a year and a half, my 2 yr old was expelled for NORMAL, 2 yr old behavior (ex: tantrums during diaper changes, for one) and the advice given by Noel was to talk to his pediatrician! (who actually laughed when I told her the situation) He told me that everyone bent over backwards for him and couldnt do it anymore! When youre paying half your paycheck for childcare, I would expect every child be bent over backwards for! I was also told hes too attached to his teachers, who obviously provoked this, bc he is a very affectionate, lovable child! I was called in for ONE meeting, not to warn me of possible expulsion, or try to work with us, but to let him go by the end of the month. Weirdly after, there was not another behavior issue again. Either the staff is not qualified to handle the terrible 2s? Or maybe someone offered a little bit more $$ to come off the waiting list? Its a little weird that he acted this way in school only! Either way, the way he spoke about my baby was unacceptable and after running a school for 20+ yrs, he should know a thing or 2 about normal 2 year old behavior. I gave 2 stars bc there are actually some very kind teachers that me and my son really loved! Its a shame how they go about business leaving you to think that your 2 yr old has a behavior problem and now he has to start over somewhere else!
