As a customer for 20 years, I thought it was ridiculous to pay a tank rental fee IN ADDITION to having the tank filled every year at our seasonal place at the shore. I found a local company that did NOT charge a tank rental fee due to the fact that I filled every spring, and called Amerigas to cancel service and pick up their thank WHICH THEY HAD JUST FILLED AND NEVER USED! I was charged a $59.99 pick up fee, which was never mentioned, and also had to pay for a tank of fuel, which I did not use, since they charged $134 as a TANK EMPTYING FEE! The contract says use the fuel, which you're charged for, or the charge THAT EXACT PRICE to empty the tank. And good luck trying to speak with customer service! They also piled on 2 more late charges since their crack customer service team puts you on hold for an hour and then disconnects so you don't get your situation resolved. Steer clear of this place, there are other companies out there, like Suburban propane, to do business with.

I did a lot of research before choosing this company and I've been very happy with the service. Each time that I called (for three different reasons), my questions were answered quickly and with friendliness. Great customer service!
