Im SHOCKED this facility is still open. The nurses and aids are abusive and use force on their elderly patients. Physically aggressive and and verbally abusive. I was told by the charge nurse that because they hire different ethnicities from different countries that the time of voices may be different than how a compassionate nurse would be. First of all- complete disregard to any issue I came across I.e watching an aid scream at an elderly person for moving their legs. Also another patient being screamed at HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU also physically pulled my grandmas shirt to que her to get out of bed. No one cares so its a waste of breath trying to talk to anyone at this facility. Stay far away from this place.

Dad was admitted here on evening of 9/23 to stabilize and strengthen before surgery to remove his kidney on 10/4. The first evening I met with the Dr on site told him his feet were swollen. He said he would not do anything other than compression socks and elevation of legs even though I explained that our goal was to get him through surgery. No action taken. Exactly a week later same conversation takes place with same doctor. He agrees to take chest X-ray. That occurs Friday morning. Again no one reads it no one takes action. Sunday he is transported to brick hospital preop for Monday surgery. Monday 6 AM at the operating room I get a call that his lungs are filled with fluid. Surgery is aborted!! If the doctor at wall rehab had at least done something we would not be in this predicament. So buyer beware. If you go here everyone is nice but are they competent? You need a strong advocate. I guess I should have been more forceful but here in the USA we are taught to trust our doctors!!!!

My mother-law was here twice and loved it. She said the staff was lovely and the food was good. Great care given!

This place should lose their license! The staff could care less. Aides make you wait, on purpose, especially if they don't like you. They say they don't retaliate, but they do. There are subtle ways of not giving someone the proper care, without raising suspicion. Had to call a relative on the phone several times to get help. Would not recommend this place- at all. Not if you care about your loved one. More people need to complain- I know I'm not the only one because the two different roommates I had had the same issues. Maybe it was just a new crop of staff- if so, they need to seriously retrain their staff on patient compassion. We're in the facility for a reason- and that reason is usually pain.
