Just like Nonas kitchen. The Scipelle soup is incredibly delicious. Perfect. This menu item, which is a very rare find, is a cherished dish here and Fienes rendition is the definitive preparation. Ive been coming here for years to reconnect with my family roots through this soup and the recipe has not changed. You will not find better. Period. A major hit menu item was the Zuppa Inglese. This is not an Italian specialty dessert many may recognize. Ive NEVER seen this on a menu before and Im so glad I spotted it on the Holiday menu. Zuppa Inglese is an Italian Trifle dessert, similar in assembly to Tiramisu (which is also a menu star here). I hadnt had this dish since the family holiday dinners of my youth. Curious how this found its way onto the menu I was informed that a matriarchal family member made this to order in advance at a the request of a good customer. Time consuming to prepare several of these were made and I was the beneficiary of a most wonderful accommodation. The folks at Fienes are family. They are family to the restaurant and to their guests as everyone here takes an ownership attitude. You will eat well. You will be treated well, like valued family members. I cannot say enough about the satisfaction of a Fienes experience.

Very nice Italian restaurant. Sometimes feel a little rushed, but that can be due to superior service.
