Recently left this place and it is a disgrace. Do not send anyone there no matter what. They are rude, ignorant and treat the clients like garbage. They will lie to get you to come there. They feed you expired food and if you say anything about it they will treat you even worse. Two months I sat there with no work. They messed up my Dr visits and meds. Even sent me to Dr appointments to buildings that weren't even open anymore. They lie steal and bully their clients. The director there is a terrible human being who treats everyone there like street trash. The only caring people there are the counselors and they hate their jobs because of the way their clients are treated. There is no recovery there. This place should be shut down for FRAUD.

This place needs to be shut down, they kick more people out and have more people go back to life of addiction than success stories. Staff is very unprofessional, there is no structure at all and they seemed to be making up a lot of rules as they go. They treat house members like children and do not hold them to any realistic sense of responsibility. It is a miracle if you get anyone on the phone and do not even bother wasting your time leaving voicemails, they will not call back! Everyone here smokes like a Chimney and the place reeks of cigarettes. My boyfriend was in prison 3 years without touching any smokes and came here and started back smoking. He also complained multiple times about the unprofessional conduct of the women. I will say his counselor was very good and did help him out a lot with life advice and words of encouragement that he will carry with him for a lifetime. Also he really enjoyed the group meetings. They should definitely consider getting a better staff rather than the incompetent power crazy women they have working at the Galloway house. If they do replace this team, they may actually see more success stories.
