Washington Wines & Liquors

I walked into Washington wine and spirits and was treated extremely poorly! I grabbed a bottle of champagne and proceeded to walk to the register where an unkind women happen to be standing behind the register and having a full conversation on her phone! As she made me wait at the register for 2 mins doing absolutely nothing but speaking on the phone for some odd reason( on the job) I sat my item on the counter and said Hello, how are you? and got no response then she scans my item with an attitude and says nothing, no eye contact or anything but she saw me walk into the store! She was extremely rude. After I payed for my item I said Thank you and have a great day With the brightest smile on my face! Well miss ma'am I apologize that your job is working behind the counter of a liquor store and that you were having a bad day but that has nothing to do with your customers! Stay home with that NASTY attitude! We all have bad days but you knew what you were doing! The FIRST time I was treated this way at this establishment btw!

This place has been around since I was a kid. The selection is standard, but sometimes the cashier is too busy on the phone to even come to the register, hence the 4 stars.

Convenient little liquor store if you live nearby! The beer selection is solid - nothing too surprising, but they have most staples and a few random extras. Since I pretty much only drink beer, I can't really comment on the wine and liquor selection, but the shelves seem pretty full of different options to me :) Prices are OK - maybe a tiny bit higher than larger stores, but nothing crazy. The aisles are kind of tight and you can end up having to wait for a second to avoid creating a traffic jam with other customers, but not a big deal. Service is friendly and effective. Overall, I will continue to shop here when I'm lazy and don't want to make the trip to larger liquor stores in the area :)
