Purchased a DELL Laptop (metallic gray in color), $190.00 and a Canon Printer, $60.00 on October 31, 2012. Picked up both on or about November 2, 2012. Prepaid for both items.
On January 19, 2013, returned DELL laptop for repair of an FBI virus. Prepaid for services, $50.00 and $15.00 for a miniature speaker. At the time of purchase, was told there was a 6-month warranty on the computer. A McAfee virus protector was installed. Did not know at the time of purchase that the 6-month warranty did not include virus repairs.
Within couple of weeks, went by the business, with receipt. Owner informed me that the laptop was not ready.
Went again a couple of weeks later, the business was not open. After finally contacting the owner, was informed that a flood had occurred.
At the time of the purchase, I did not record the serial number of the laptop.
Randomly going by the business, notes was posted on the business stating customers should contact the owner--via text message--giving the info of any items that was not picked up at the time of the flood.
My understanding was that the business was to reopen on April 1, 2013. As of April 4, 2013, it was not. I am, at the time, skeptical of how and when I will get my laptop. I am no longer able to contact the owner.
