    Edit 06/09/2023. I went back again when it wasn't a holiday, so much less noisy. Absolutely perfect! Everything was flawless, taste, service, atmosphere. So good! Some of the best food I've had in a long time! Only thing was it was very very noisy, because it was a holiday. Conversations were hard.

    Villa Amalfi has certainly not aged gracefully. We made a reservation for a party of 9 and our friends made one for a party of 16.. I was there first and to say the owner (female) was less than cordial. It seemed like I was interrupting her afternoon. Pardon me as I am about to spend, between the two parties over $1,500. We were supposed to be served family style appetizers which ended up being 3 separate apps on 3 different plates and we were charged for 9 appetizers which defeated the purpose. Seafood salad, one of my favorite dishes was simply, TERRIBLE. The color was off, looked grey and when I took my first bite, the taste was "old" and the texture was hard. There was no "dressing" and it was eating week old seafood. My wife ordered a $60 filet mignon. Quality of the meat was worse than Outback and the mashed potatoes tasted like instant. The owner aggressively told me they were not. Jury still out on that one. My in-laws each ordered a salmon dish. It was not supposed to be salmon sushi, get my point! Yes, raw in the middle. I did call the owner and spoke about the experience. The gentlemen understood and said he would do "something". 4 days later, the female owner called and was less than friendly. Basically she said she will do NOTHING to rectify the situation. If I could give less than one star I would.. Advice, stay away.. Not only for the less than quality food but the also the unpleasant and rude customer service.

Hello again. I see we are moving our conversation to a public platform for all to see, absolutely no problem, as it is obvious you need a crowd for reassurance and validity. So, here we go: Several things you mentioned were absolutely true. For instance, your reservation was for a party of 9 and the food items you mentioned were indeed ordered. But that's about it for truth on your part. Let us begin with the fact that we had to actually save the camera footage from this entire meal to discredit your review. When you called us the day after about your seafood salad being "purple" in color, now you are saying its "grey". Even if it was florescent green, it doesn’t matter, you personally, refilled your plate a total of 5 times on camera. That strikes us as shocking considering it tasted like "old, hard seafood". There must have been something about it you liked enough for all your guests to completely finish and for yourself to refill your dish 5 times. Over the phone you compared the filet mignon to "shoprite" and here you reference "Outback". Maybe if you weren't used to eating crap to begin with, you would know what good food should taste like. This seems to be the first time you were let out to eat. Our waiters checked back multiple times after the appetizers were delivered and after the entrees were delivered. In all cases, all your guests ensured them everything was fine and that the food was delicious. So, in our eyes, it seems the only unhappy one is you, probably because you tried to put on a big show in front of your friends and you were expecting an OUTHOUSE STEAKHOUSE type of check total. That is probably the reason why you wanted a $200 gift certificate in return as per our phone conversation, because you aren't used to eating at a good restaurant. You weren’t able to leave us less than one-star, and for that, we feel bad. This is America, you should be able to leave a zero-star review and because this is America, we have zero intention of ever serving you a liar like you again. Outback needs you more than we do.
