Called to make an appointment because Im having shortness of breath. I was told in the hospital that I need to see a pulmonologist. Even though Dr. Rabinowitz is an allergist, I saw that he does pulmonary function testing. He came highly recommended by a family member. Well, to start off I called and the receptionist who answered the phone sounded so NASTY and miserable. I asked if they took NJ Family Care and she said very rudely Were booking into April I said okay and told her I was told to see a pulmonologist. She goes um hes NOT a pulmonologist hes an allergist at that point I told her have a nice day and hung up. Im a receptionist myself and would never talk to my patients that way. Im sorry but if youre gonna be that miserable you need a new profession. With that kind of attitude, no one will feel welcome there. Thats how you drive patients away.

My ENT recommended that I see an allergist for my ongoing sinus infections. He recommended Dr. Rabinowitz. I will say I experienced the say unpleasantness when I made my appointment. HOWEVER, I looked past this and booked my appointment for a couple of months away. Yes Dr. Rabinowitz is VERY booked. But this should just tell you how awesome he is. He has a GREAT bedside manner and is patient with each visit. He is thorough and has a sense of humor. Sue, the allergy nurse, is amazing. She is sweet and very easy to talk to. She doesn't mind having a short chat with you. This makes me feel very comfortable. I have rarely missed a shot appointment since May of last year going twice a week. The shots have helped me tremendously. As for the unpleasant first phone call, it is in my distant past and so worth it. You know what they say...to know me is to love me. I got to know them and I love them. Dr. Rabinowitz and his office is WORTH the wait.

i love this dr. so caring and takes his time answering questions. only dr that helped me with hives and uncontrollable itching. office staff is very helpful as well.
