It’s a fairly decent website matching you with local pet sitters. You get enough information about the sitter to help you make a decision. I gave it 4 stars because I ended up not needing a pet sitter after all

Patrick of Lucky Paws Pet Sitting has taken care of our asthmatic cat on numerous occasions for over 5 years. He is very reliable, trustworthy and professional. We were away during Superstorm Sandy in Oct. 2012, and he kindly emptied our refrigerator when the power was off for several days, etc. etc. We highly recommend him.
