image It's getting three stars because our waitress was great. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the food. While they did make an attempt at Mexican cuisine, the chips were stale, the rice was basically tomato paste pressed into long grain white rice, the black beans were puke brown and flavorless, and their "variety" of hot sauce never exceeded mild. Additionally, their version of coleslaw should be outlawed in all 50 states because it was equivalent to torture that you would find in Guantanamo Bay.
All that being said, the atmosphere was nice. We did find the establishment to be cozy. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and pleasant. However, they should really consider changing the food they offer because they fail miserably at Mexican cuisine. On the plus side, they did have Pepsi instead of Coke though; so that's a win. 🤷‍♂️
