Hi Russ. I am very sad that you are clearly having a terrible time with a tree that we grew here. I hope that you know that we would never deliberately raise a tree that would lose needles like that. Once in a while it does happen for no apparent reason. We’ve been raising trees here since 1961. We get a couple of issues each year out of hundreds harvested. We always respond when we hear of this kind of issue. Of course we immediately offer a replacement or full refund. We would have done that for you and still would if asked. I’m am sorry that you felt it necessary to go public here and other places instead of just contacting us. I know that you are clearly mad but we are not bad folks. We love our farm and work so very hard all year long so that people can enjoy our farm during the Christmas season. I don’t know what else I can say. I hope you take us up on a replacement tree or a refund and accept our apology. And regardless of what you decide, my family wishes you and yours a Merry Christmas. Mike Garrett/Shale Hills Farm
