My son attended a complimentary "Boys" Hip Hop dance class that I was told was for ages 6 to 13. After multiple phone calls with the manager about how to sign up my son, I purchased shoes I was told he needed, and arrived on time for the class. I got there and told them I was ready to pay while my son was getting dressed. The manager said "no one called you? Someone was supposed to call you." I was then told my son is too little, and I explained that he is in fact 6 years old and that he meets the age requirements posted on their website. They suggested a toddler tumbling class which blew mind! My son is a defensive tackle on a full tackle team. He may be somewhat short but he certainly does not resemble a toddler in any way. I have no idea why they would treat myself or my son this way, but we will never return to this "dance" place. Clearly young boys are not welcome!
