Arusuvai Indian Restaurant at Somerville

The worst restaurant experience. I took a bite off my plate which looked delicious and crunched on glass. Luckily I was eating slow and was able to spit it out without hurting myself. I told the waiter and he was skeptical about it being in the food but I did not feel comfortable ordering anything else. They still charged us for the whole meal. We could have escalated the situation but I'm not someone to make a scene so I just refuse to go back.

The lunch buffet was good the last time I was here in 2019 pre-Covid, but it now appears permanently closed.

Really nice place. Good for company parties. We had 2 company parties here and everyone loved it! Some people were eating Indian food for the first time and some had many experiences with Indian food. The chicken lollipops are really good. A lot of heat! The lamb chops were cooked very well! Very tender and packed a nice kick! Shrimp tekka has just the right about of spice. Chicken tikka masala is cooked in their special sauce. butter chicken was pretty good for the non spicy eaters. You can pick the amount of spicy lvl and salty ness for all the dishes. This place is great for all the spice lovers. The lassi drinks were delicious. The Mango lassi was the best! The rose one just taste like strawberry nesquik.
