Should not be treating patients for any psychological issues, especially children! Do not subject yourself or your child to this person for any type of medical care. We regret it everyday.

I saw Rachel for a while 2017-2018 in high school for social anxiety. She did her job honestly and told me the things I had to hear by teaching me the definitions of low self esteem and projection. However half the time her looks and mannerisms made my social anxiety flair up even more as I felt as if everything I said was a bother to her and she tried to make sure she talked the most during the session, not afraid to cut me off, especially towards the end. The day I officially got confirmation that I wasnt just ruminating as usual, was when I asked her about a specific disorder I was trying to find information on for a project at school, I brought it up towards the end of our session and before I could finish my question she scoffed, cut me off and asked why, do you think you have it? with an annoyed look. Very humiliating for a 16 year old patient, and unprofessional on her part. Upon reading her other review on this site it doesnt seem she has changed much, I wouldnt recommend wasting your time here and potentially making your children feel even worse about speaking up when it comes to their mental health.

My daughter is going through an anxious phase with acute panic attacks and such and a psychiatrist prescribed her cognitive behavior therapy. We got an appointment fairly soon with Rachel Modiano and were looking forward to it, and we thought we got lucky because getting an appointment with a psychologist is so tough nowadays. She was prompt with the paperwork done by email. She had a first intake session with my daughter and indicated she cannot give weekly therapy sessions and will only give appointments as and when they are available. I emailed her and requested her to please reconsider and give her weekly appointments as she was in a pretty bad state. That was it. We never heard back. Not even a email as a courtesy. Her kind of people don't belong in the mental health industry. To call herself a therapist must be a joke.
