        I was there last month on short notice. The host was absolutely wonderful and the hospitality genuine. The room and premises were clean, in good repair, pleasant, and comfortable. The Islander had everything I expected to find at a motel down the Shore, plus more. I would definitely stay there again.

        Just what you hope for in a Mom & Pop motel on the Jersey shore - clean, good A/C, beds ok, check in / check out is efficient, close to beach, close to restaurants. Did I mention clean? :-) Joe and his wife run the place and Joe is a really nice guy - called us at noon to tell us our room was ready early for us! Love this place.

        The islander is an amazing place to stay. Joe and his family do an amazing job. They are friendly amd the place is kept super clean. The location is near everything and its 2 short bkocks to the beach. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay. The rates are the best we found on the island.
