These guys are the best around. They have done numerous service calls for me both on the heating system and air conditioning system along with an install of a brand new unit on the first floor. My most recent experience with A Degree Above was today when I came home to see the thermostat reading 82 degrees. They had a technician on site in one hour on a feel like temperature of 102 degrees outside. Took care of the issue quickly and had the unit back up and running. I just had Lou come out and work on diagnosing and repairing both of my AC Units. Lou was truly a Godsend. He came on time, spent time to go through both the units, gave me his honest advice and opinion and left me with a more than reasonable repair bill. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for this because whenever you call companies, you feel like everyone is out there to rip you off! He was extremely knowledgeable, kind, professional and beyond everything honest! Thank you again for your help with our units Lou. I would recommend his team to anyone with closed eyes. My unit was installed 6 years ago. I was not told to get permits. While it is written in the contract, they did the work without permits. The inspector came to my home and now, 6 years later. I had to pay $100s for a permit. They also installed a water heater without a permit, when I contacted them, I was told we dont have a plumber and you have to find one. I now have to pay $100s for a permit and a plumber to settle with the town. After a conversation with Cheryl and Lou, Lou told me in a very threatening tone, come down and well settle it. Im the home owner, not a contractor, they should have made sure the job is inspected after the finish. Makes common sense to me, obviously, not to them. Very unprofessional. Keep in mind, they do not offer 24/7 service. If your A/C goes down on the weekend during the summer, you have to call someone else like I did. Shame on you Lou! Service: Install AC
