I'n not quite ready to give Rupperts a below average review, because the past 2 times I went, the steak salad I got was good, and the burger was ok. However, I got one of their dinner specials not too long ago and maybe it had to do with it being the end of the day, but the chef didn't taste the soup, and it came out burned. The same thing with the Mashed Potatoes, which seemed to come from an instant mix and were powdery/grainy and burned. And some grilled chicken that came out was burned as well...tasted like the soup. The waitress was good though, and she handled things very well, but word to the chef...pay attention to Hell's kitchen a little bit more and make sure you taste what you're going to give the customers periodically. Burning most of the meal isn't good....but the calamari was. Just a suggestion. The venue is nice, and I'd hate to see the place disappear because food gets sent out sub-par.
