This is my favorite restaurant in Bergen County... always delicious dishes, authentic and fresh. Dim Sum Dynasty may be best known for their always delicious and freshly prepared Dum Sum, BUT just try their meals from the menu and you will know why they are know as one of the most authentic (if not the most authentic) Cantonese Chinese restaurants in Bergen County. The owner, Judy, and head server, Tong, are a pleasure to deal with and are especially nice!!! If you call or go there, please ask for Judy and then ask for Tong as your server. *** Also, please mention my name, Tom Garlick, as I am sure they will provide the same service to you that they do to me! I started going to Dim Sum Dynasty after 2 different Chinese friends recommended it as being very authentic! That was years ago and I have been a regular and very happy customer since then. I recently visited San Francisco and went to their China Town hoping to have some more great Chinese food. We were 4 people and ordered an assortment of dishes, but have to say that Dim Sum Dynastys food was better, with more flavors and better recipes. Dim Sums dishes are wonderfully seasoned, the ingredients are so fresh, especially the shrimp (and their fish from their salt water tanks) and very very flavorful (always). Try their Sea Bass Casserole with fried tofu and Chinese vegetables... and the Singapore Noodles with shrimp, chicken, curry and vegetables, or tBroccoli with Beef in Ginger Brown Sauce, and many more that I have enjoyed... I can happily say that I have never been disappointed at Dim Sum and have always left talking about how good the meal was! The flavors in their dishes make your taste buds dance, sort of like in a conga line! LOL, but really their food makes the taste buds soooo happy! Also... On Saturdays and Sundays, Dim Sum Dynasty has their excellent fresh DIM SUM served via carts to your table.... the 2 most difficult things are 1) choosing which Dim Sum delicacies to have first and 2) not eating too many of them, as they are just so darn delicious! Used to be way better back then (5 years ago), chicken with broccoli was the only thing decent but it was room warm, the rice wasn't fresh, the beef chow fun was way too salty (though size and flavor was alright) but the fried rice was disappointing, salty and bland. Barely any shrimp and tasted purely like salt. Not worth the money, hope they find a new chief
