I would highly recommend this gym to anyone in the area looking to train. Chris' instruction was excellent, the training environment was safe and clean, and there was a wide range of friendly and skilled members.

I visited Garden State BJJ and I had a fantastic time. Clean facility, great mat space, and awesome coaches. Places like this are why I love jiu jitsu, I was welcomed like Ive been there for years, no egos, no awkward rolls, just warm welcomes from all the students and coaches and a great class. This place will definitely become my jiu jitsu home away from home.

Started training Jui Jitsu with Garden State over a year ago. Had zero experience and didnt know anyone. Upon walking on the mats for my first class, everyone made me feel welcome and were happy to help me learn. The coaching staff are extremely knowledgeable and go the extra yard to make sure you are learning the techniques and avoiding injuries. If youre thinking about trying Jui Jitsu, I highly recommend Garden State BJJ, step outside your comfort zone, you wont be disappointed and youll meet a bunch of great people along the way.

We've been with GSBJJ almost a year and my 6 year old son loves it! Classes are very well organized, fun and keep the little one constantly engaged. Definitely recommend!!
