I gave this one a 1 star because there is no way I can give below that. The place stinks. The food was terrible. Cold food with absolutely no flavor. Mutton gravy was full of bones, no meat. People were going for a second helping with soiled plates and bowls. Chicken tikka and harayali tikka had food coloring that made them appear artificially orange and green. Absolutely tasteless. The least one can expect from a restaurant is to use fresh vegetables instead of frozen ones. Sambhar was sour water with frozen carrots. We left the restaurant as hungry as we we had walked in. The only plus side was that the owner Jaya Sinha was patient enough to note our complaints ... our only hope is that restaurant revamps its menu. I'll be signing this one up for Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsey :-) Worst Indian food in NJ or probably in the USA.

I am 13years old and eat a lot of Indian. The food was terrible, the worst I've ever had. The curry sauce was like dish water and had no flavor at all. The bathroom was dirty and disgusting.

I had the mango lassi and the chicken with spinach and the food was great. The cost is also not that high.

Great dining room, and run by nice people, but Ganges doesn't seem to do the volume needed to keep the food fresh. A couple of our dishes tasted like they'd been stewing for a long, long time - and one was so salty it was barely edible. There are far better Indian places near by - although more expensive, the Palace of Asia off Quakerbridge and Kalouri Corner in Princeton are better bets.
