The Therapy Center

I don't recommend the massage therapist. The entire session she was talking, and no music or relax setting was provided. The massage did not meet my expectations, too basic and nothing especial.

I tried to make an appointment three times. They said they would check my insurance and call me back. They never called me back. When I followed up they said again they would check my insurance and call me back. No call back. I have really great insurance. One call the woman said I probably didnt get a call back because of an insurance issue? If thats the case I have a feeling they thought I hadnt reached my deductible when they looked into it. I had in fact reached the deductible but it wasnt accurately reflecting. So I figure they didnt think it was worth it to look into or get back to me. I went to another chiropractor with better service. It took them like 5 minutes to figure out the insurance thing.

I first went to to the Therapy Center 5 years ago for treatment following a car accident. After insurance changing I ended up going to a couple of different chiropractors in the area. Well... today I have returned and it's the same great treatment I received years ago.  I received treatment for my neck and left knowing I wasn't going to any other chiropractor again if I can help it. Highly recommend The Therapy Center!

I fractured my kneecap 13 weeks ago which left my kneecap in two distinct pieces with a 3 millimeter gap in between. I was given a massive straight leg brace and crutches by my doctor and immobilized the joint as much as possible to let it heal for the first 3-4 weeks. I then did about two weeks of physical therapy at a different place before transferring to this Therapy Center in Perth Amboy. The transition was seamless, they started me on practically the same program where the old physical therapist left off and continued my treatment excellently. About 6 weeks of physical therapy here in Perth Amboy has resulted in my knee having full range of motion with pain free motion. I, specifically, was treated by Dr. Joan, who was polite, talkative, and incredibly knowledgeable in her field. She led me on a great recovery path. My only complaint, if I had to give one, was that the recovery path was conservative and slow; it prioritized a slow and healthy recovery based on baby steps where I wanted a faster, more challenging pace. Of course, there is nothing wrong with a slow and steady recovery and I am grateful that I did not rush too much and end up hurting myself again.
