Evas is a decent place that genuinely cares about there clients. I'd honestly say it's the best halfway house in NJ. I've been here 6 months with no real complaints. The food could be a little better but at the end of the day it's a good place.

Other than the staff that greets and seats you having a Napoleon complex, and the amount of times they serve pork; it's a great place. The food sans pork, is usually pretty tasty. Overall this "soup kitchen" is miles ahead of some of the others I have been to. I highly appreciate what they do for us less than fortunate locals. If it wasn't for Eva's, I'd go without eating most days. I shaved the one star strictly based on the seating staff's behavior towards other human beings. The better than you attitude, really gets under your skin. If you don't like what you are doing or the people you have to deal with, do everyone including yourself a favor and find another job, or work in the back where you don't deal with us.
