    I purchased basically my whole kitchen from this place and i will never buy from here again !! They sent me an 6 burner oven 3 times and martin supposedly the owner tried to blame me like it was my fault . That we probably did something to it that wasnt making the stove work , so after callling SO MANY TIMES he finally delivered and btw is terrible with delivery dates and time . I had purchased a walk-in cooler that i paid for in full months ago and i had originally asked if he could hold it until i was ready for the delivery , this has been almost a month ago i spoke to martin and told him i am ready for the delivery so we set up dates for the following week and i told him i would call to confirm and next week came around and and he was no where to be found . I called this place so many times asking the secretary almost everyday to please have him call me and that i was very upset And not even a phone call back till this day . I called again today and the secretary which is a sweetheart and i know shes stuck in the middle of this a**hole martin and she was apologizing for him and said he told her he had already delivered it and she had had told no he didnt and told him ive been calling and was not happy , because she obviously has spoken to me and is probably annoyed at how many times ive called about my walk in box . At this point i just want to cut all ties with this place i dont even want the walk-in just my money back because i have a feeling that once i recieve it if i ever do Something will be wrong with it and i again have to try to contact this so called business owner . This is not how you treat customers im sorry , i have a business myself and have been dealing with customers all my life , some are just ball breakers for no reason but some have legitimate reasons and for either ones you always have to try to fix the situation and move on . This is not how business should be handled . So for anyone that reads this review do not pay MARTIN OR THIS PLACE UNTIL THEY DELIVER!!!!!!!

    Very happy with my interaction and my purchase with Advantage. I saw they had a great price on a Summit Kegerator. I didn't want to miss out on the deal, but I was not able to get there to look at it. Martin sent me photos and answered all my questions via phone and email. They seemed professional and were obviously trying to give me a good sense of the item's condition, so I took a chance and had it delivered without reviewing it in person. The delivery team was helpful and professional. Great customer service, great product, great price. I didn't catch the lady's name that answered the phone, but the whole team was very professional and helpful. Happy to recommend them.

    I paid for two pizza ovens from Martin. As soon as he received the check, they stopped answering phone calls and my emails. This guy is a thief and won’t even answer my calls to discuss. All I want it the product I paid for. I’m trying to open my 1st store and taking a hit like this has put me back to where I’m struggling to open. If you’re thinking of using Martin, please read my review first so you don’t fall into a trap like me.

    Whatever you do, please do NOT order from this guy. Martin Novoa is master manipulator in the tactics of distress and distract. AVOID HIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS. When the Paterson Police escorted us to his shop (on two occasions), we learned that he's done this with other customers too. Once he takes your money, he comes up with all kinds of excuses about the equipment being unavailable or he delivers damaged and defective equipment. We should have turned elsewhere as soon as he made his first excuse, but we were eager to open our business. What’s more, he asked for 100% of the payment upfront. We purchased various restaurant equipment from him, valued at about over $22,000, and paid in full on February 22, 2018. Since then, we have been trying to get the equipment to open our bakery. At every turn, he has made excuses and not fulfilled our contract. He delivered a few small pieces here and there, but the majority were damaged. He is exceptionally deceitful in the stories he will tell to keep you chasing him until he sees that you will not go away. At which point, he will insultingly tell you to leave him alone. For instance, he called me crazy because I insisted that he deliver the equipment I paid for or fully reimburse me. On July 13th, he promised he would deliver everything by Tuesday, July 17th, or reimburse the funds. On Tuesday he sent damaged equipment. A quick inspection revealed that the equipment was clearly damaged—it didn't even come off the truck. We sent it right back. For example, the door of the lowboy refrigerator we ordered had broken hinges and the six-burner stove we ordered was black when it was supposed to be stainless steel. Of 18 items purchased, I got only 5 and of those only 2 were not damaged. It is a tragedy for this struggling economy to have someone like him taking advantage of small business owners. Advantage Restaurant equipment has refused to uphold the full terms of delivery or reimburse the funds. Tuesday, July 17th, was the deadline for delivering everything in full, as per the invoice of items paid for in-full on February 22, 2018. After being extremely patient and accommodating, we are now turning elsewhere as his business practice is highly unethical. From our experience, he purposefully withheld and deprived our business of our needed equipment to cause financial injury to our enterprise. How else can you explain taking a customer’s money, not delivering the products they paid for, and then not refunding them? • More than three months of delays, combined with the fact that we now have to find additional resources, not to mention the corrosive stress of dealing with him—this is not the kind of experience you want to have when opening a new business. At first, it will all seem normal, but stay away from Martin Nova and Advantage Restaurant equipment in Paterson, New Jersey or he’ll end up taking advantage of you.
