Mayers is a great place if youre looking to be more active! Ive been attending the adult kickboxing class for the past two years and its been such a great experience. I started the class with no prior experience and Dan has done such a great job teaching myself and the others on the basics and then how to continue to improve. Each class is challenging and I leave feeling great and feeling stronger. Dan switches the routine up and is always encouraging which helps to power through some of the workouts. You can tell how much he cares about his students. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Very good school mr Mayer is great for many types of children and adults. his teaching philosophy and style really improves a person mental and physical strength. The other instructor mr schelzo is great for all types of learning styles, he is very patient and his passion is spread throughout the dojo. Something diffrent that this dojo does is that, mayers karate gives older students an opportunity to work with the instructors and shadow ther teaching. This is a reward given to students that embody the dojo philosophy both in and outside of the school. The dojo also follows the student creed. This list consists of twelve philosophy that student are taught to strive for. These philosophys are Devolp positive habits, develop self discipline, bring out the best in yourself, bring out the best in others, believe in yourself, encourage others to succeed, respect oneself and other, control your emotions, continue to improve/learn, plan you destiny, indomitable spirit, live life to the fullest. In all after being in this dojo for ten years I'm proud to say that mayers karate and fitness has improved all of the specs of my life from school to home to social interactions.
