image Decent selection of various dishes prepared well. Lovely decor, and great service even for a lunch buffet. Will proudly return, and recommend to friends or strangers alike.

image Food used to be good here. Lately both me and my wife have observed A big drop in their quality. Also the crowd is missing which further confirms my observation. The ambience is terrific and the service is good. Now only if they raised the quality of heir food.......one thing I did not understand is that they once charged me gratuity for a table of 4 which I believe was not fair. Also no where did they mention about this in their restaurant. I had guests with me so I let it go but left the place with a pledge to never return.

image This place has gone to the dumps !! As Indian and a connoisseur of North Indian food Amiya Parsippany started with a bang and now sadly as every other new desi joint phas lost its "mojo"Food - used to be fantastic first 5 months - now I believe their main chef is gone and a Mexican prepares Indian food. So you pay $30 for mutton biriyani prepared by amigos. A quick call to Immigration/Home Land Security for illegal deportation is needed if this continues.Chilli chicken dish has NO chillies - not even a faint smell of that green spicy vegetable - who the hell is their chef now ? The vegetable manchurian breaks apart upon touch. Chicken tikka masala seems to have sauce from a can - not freshly prepared. The Delhi style Goat biriyani is now tasteless and oily.Service: When you call in for takeout, the lady that answers the phone does not know anything about their menu or the food they serve. What a dumb choice !!Waiters - smelly waiters are polite yes but there are 5 of them hanging around the bar flirting with the bartender with no time to check on diners. This is the WORST managed high end Indian place I have seen.I would gladly drive 35 minutes and pay a $10 toll to visit Utsav in theater district NYC than have Amiya here.Warning - this place started off amazing - now it is a second tier over priced place with nice decor.of course non Indian (white folks) have lesser clues about good Indian food so even a boiled tandoori chicken tastes good to them :)

image The service is really bad. All the waiters seems to be super busy doing nothing...They dont even care to ask even for a drink or water...The food also is not that great... It took more than 2 hours to get our dinner finally served on the table. After serving dinner no body comes to ask for anything about the food or anything.
