No one would answer the phone. We were trying to warn them that one of their managers at Provo, UT Baymont by Wyndam is scamming customers by charging them smoking fees when they aren't smoking. We spoke to the manager first about the errant charge and he cut me off said, "I don't care. Everyone says they don't smoke" then hung up on me and refused to answer subsequent phone calls. We then found similar complaints online, making it apparent that it wasn't a mistake, but a scam. I called one corporate number to report the situation, and the employee was polite but said we needed to call a different number for complaints. The other number gave a menu seeming legit, but every option was either disconnected or led to an answering machine. We'll be disputing the charge with our credit card and reporting this to the better business beuro. We will not be staying at a Wyndham hotel ever again.

Wyndham is totally useless with problems in their hotels. I suggest people who have trouble report the situation to the state tourism department, the Better Business Bureau, and if needed the state Health Department. Wyndham does not care.

I checked out of the Baymont by Wyndham, on April 15, 2023, the day prior. I spoke with the front desk and it wasn't a problem, but I never received a refund. I called back to the hotel a week later and spoke with Candy that identified herself as the General Manager for Baymont. Candy was so unprofessional and gave me such a difficult time about her investigation in order to provide me a refund. Candy informed me that she would check the cameras to see the time of check-out and I welcomed her to check the cameras. I informed Candy that I could easily produce my call log from my cell phone.
Candy at the Baymont by Windham Chicago/Alsip kept calling me. She made 3 calls to my cell phone to tell me excuses about the front desk staff notes and who wrote down the information to cancel my reservation. Candy concluded that I won't be receiving a refund. Today, Candy called me again to reiterate that she spoke with another front desk clerk, but never acknowledge checking video cameras.

We no longer have our timeshare for a good 2 years. Cannot get them to stop calling!! Wish Never heard of Wyndham!!

****WARNING**** DON'T STAY***** Didn't even want to give 1 STAR.... I stayed at the Ramada LAX in Los Angeles in April 2023. The room was clean but the hotel was "getto". There is a mexican restaurant in the same building. Door to the restaurant and the front desk are literary less than 25 ft from each other and the restaurant plays VERY loud music The clerk could not hear what I was saying and vise versa. AND DO NOT use a prepaid card for the $100 sercuity deposit they require after you have already paid $100 and something online for the room. It take their corporate more than 30 days to return the deposit to your card.
