Atrium Acute Care of Park Ridge

The place is a horror. My mother has been abused, neglected and no one, including social workers and administrators have any idea what is going on.  The head nurse Blondie is rude and completely unprofessional.  I asked for basic records of my mothers care. She said she was going to speak to her staff and meet me at my moms room. 4.5 hours later, when I saw her. She said what do you want now. It's unreal. Had to hire my own aide to be with my mom 8 hours a day to ensure she is taken care of while my siblings and I research other facilities and try and find her a suitable place. I wouldn't bring my worst enemy to this place. I do not know how they sleep at night. I asked for help from and aide and a nurse. They argued in front of me saying I'm not doing it. Then started speaking another language. Took me over an hour and half to finally get someone to help me. It's a nightmare. They are robbing the government of funding. It's disgraceful. These are human lives. My mom has been found on the floor. No one knows how or how long she was there. Multiple days in a row, we arrive and she is in her own feces and half naked.
