After being to numerous PTs and having 3 shoulder surgeries I was ready to give up on the things I loved doing cause of pain. For the first time I felt like someone actually cared about getting me better. Tom is like no other PT he is extremely knowledgeable about the anatomy and portrayed that to me as a patient. Tom is AMAZING and I feel lucky to have found him. His intelligent and intuitive approach is exactly what was needed for my complicated issues. And, I so appreciate his generosity regarding the time he takes with me and in thoroughly reviewing my medical documents and in contacting my doctor. I can't recommend Tom and the Apex team enough! I was struggling with debilitating neck pain that led to daily headaches. But, I was hesitant to start physical therapy since Ive done it before and it was very time consuming with little impact. However, Tom put me at ease from the first appointment. Tom took the time to thoroughly explain my diagnosis and treatment plan, and tailored exercises to my specific needs. He provided an app that showed the exercises and I could track progress. After just a few sessions and performing the neck exercises and stretches on my own time, I started noticing significant improvements. After having had rotator cuff surgery in October, I began physical therapy at Apex several weeks later at the strong recommendation of my orthopedic surgeon. Tom, and his assistant Noah, have been wonderful every step of the way. They are very good at delivering top flight physical therapy but are both wonderful people who make the experience a pleasure. Imagine that, physical therapy experience a pleasure......They advance you according to your progress, never pushing you beyond your limits or making you feel pain. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering or needing physical therapy.
