Skylands Medical Group - Oak Ridge

Had a AWV yesterday and from making the appt to the end of my actual appt I was made to feel that from the top of my head to my toes was all important. I was extremely comfortable with the receptionists, the nurse (Rachel) was so personable and approachable. Dr. Wehbeh was very attentive, soft spoken and gave me a realistic plan that I could follow to get myself back onto the healthy train. It's a great feeling to want to visit the doctor and the staff. Gotta go, been given homework from the doc to complete before next visit.

Horrible operational management. Arrived 10 minutes early with all of my paperwork completed online in advance. Waited 30 minutes past my appointment then asked for assistance. They called the patient with an appointment 15 minutes after my scheduled time into a room before me. I was finally called into the back area and they opened the door to an exam room that already had another patient in the room. Nurse then told me to go back to the waiting area or reschedule my appointment. It was now 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment and I needed to return to work for a meeting. I was inconvenienced due to their inability to manage patients in a timely manner. I called to speak with the office manager and she had nothing to offer other than "sorry" we do everything correctly - "I'll look into it". No ownership in their mishandling of patients. No offer to get me another appointment to correct their mistakes. Zero consideration for their patients. If you are in need of a physician in the Oak Ridge area, look elsewhere!

I am having a terrible time communicating with them. I get text messages from CVS to pickup prescriptions, no contact from the doctor or their office. I miss Peter Crawford! Time to look around.
