As residents of CA we had to rely on Mr. Zayas to keep us informed re: our case #08-CV-3152 in NY.
After firing Mr. Zayas for negligence, he pleaded to continue the case and promised to be more diligent. We rehired him not knowing that he was obligated to someone else to conclude the two other cases and could not allow the possibility of our hiring another attorney that would not be as easily swayed as was Mr. Zayas. Mr. Zayas settled the cases with Port Authority and Jet Blue Airlines without our knowledge or approval. The information given in open court confirmed that Port Authority lied and was culpable of the allegations against them, but because that information was hidden and kept secret, we could not possibly prevail. The cards were deliberately stacked against us, his clients because attorney Mr. Zayas was aiding the defendants. As a result of Mr. Zayas's treason, the defendants were not held accountable for injuring the elder female who was physically attacked by plaintiffs. Upon return home her physicians had to operate on both shoulders , both knees, both wrists and her spine. We are not including emotional trauma,therapists, and psychiatrists. Although the elder female was held in NY jail for two days, a judge later overturned, and expunged the case against her. More evidence of all the information is available by searching court documents related to our case #08-CV-3152. Buyer beware-Mr. Zayas cannot be trusted.
