Makeda Ethiopian Restaurant

I went here for a romantic dinner and it was wonderful. Great atmosphere, great food. Highly recommended!

My co worker kept talking about Makeda and is always asking me if I have been to Makeda. Finally, I made my reservation for tonight with my girls. Little did I know that I will not have the Makeda dining experience due to very poor service. The receptionist/waitress took our coats and asked us to wait in the bar area. We waited for 35 to 40 minutes, not knowing if we will be seated or not. I got very impatient and went to the receptionist/waitress to take my coat to leave. The receptionist/waitress did not even try to stop or convince us that they are preparing a table for us. So to make a long story short, I will NOT recommend Makeda to any of my friends and I am definitely NOT coming to Makeda restaurant. The service is left to be desired!!!

I love this place! I have been there many times and I've always been pleased with the service. Best Ethiopian food outside of Washington, DC!

over priced, seafood platter my azzzzz.. more like hot diarrhea. There wasnt enough seafood in the seafood platter which came with a lot of vegetarian portions and it was $65!!!!! not worth it at all. NOT WORTH THE MONEY
