    It was difficult to get someone on the phone to make an appointment. Finally after getting through the 1st available testing slot was over 2 months away. The testing itself was average but there was an ensuring discussion about the correct deductible afterwards. Had a much better experience at the JFK hearing center.

    Had an appointment scheduled for three months in advance for my daughter. Arrived at my scheduled time, Was sent on a wild goose chase to figure out where we needed to be (There is separate offices across from each other) I met a nice lady at the opposite end of the hall who walked me over to the correct place and waited until she made sure it was the correct place. Only to walk over to the front desk, Where there were two ladies sitting. They seemed very uninterested in helping. She asks with an attitude Whats the name.. I go on to provide that information. She then says I dont see an appointment And thats it!! She didnt ask any other questions, She did absolutely NOTHING to resolve the issue. This appointment was made months ago!! They were actually the ones who RECOMMENDED that I bring her for her hearing test at 6 months old vs 3 months old!!! I drove almost an hour to get there!! I even went downstairs to the lobby and called to ask for an office manager to see if I can try making yet another appointment while I was still there. A woman then says I am the office coordinator (Which was one of the two ladies at the desk when I arrived) Again, Did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue. I ended up calling to put in a complaint against the office through my insurance carrier. (Considering they were involved in getting us the appointment since it was pediatric related).. I wouldnt recommend this practice to ANYONE!!!! Its very unprofessional! They didnt look as if they wanted to be there, Let alone HELP a client!! Save yourself the time and energy. Go somewhere where they go ABOVE AND BEYOND! Where they take that extra step! Even if it means traveling a little further!

At this RWJ Speech and Audiology location, audiologists provide testing, habilitation/rehabilitation, and counseling of people who have hearing loss or tinnitus. You may park in our on-site, sheltered parking deck. There is a direct entrance from the parking deck into the Plum Street Building from the lower level (LL) of the parking garage. Please bring your parking ticket in to the office so we can provide a validated discount.
