THIS IS FOR JOSHUA ALTMAN - He seemed amazing off the bat, and he helped a friend of mine with his DUI, and beat a lot of the charges so I put my trust in him. Automatically he gave me the impression all my charges would be dropped, and because of covid the court dates were postponed for over a year. Unfortunately I did move out of state and didn't end up receiving some letters from him which ended in him dropping me as a client. That was 100% my fault, but after speaking to many other great DUI lawyers they informed me that i should never pay that much right upfront to ANY lawyer, and they always should try and get in contact with their client in more ways than one. After also speaking to other people that have used him as a lawyer he never made any of them pay upfront the total amount, just me. I feel scammed and now I'm out of thousands of dollars which if I wasn't made to pay upfront the total amount I wouldn't be. I don't understand as a client how he took advantage of me and the situation that way, and after speaking to a judge she basically said I was insane if I thought that any of my charges would be dismissed. He gave me false hope on my whole entire case and now I may be screwed because of this whole entire situation.
