They try to give students teachers that are the best for them, but that wasn't the case with my 5th grade teacher. How did I learn decent grammar you may be asking, from reading books that the school didn't recommend. The activities were fun sometimes, but most of the time were not enjoyable in any way.

Very fun school. Many additions to the curriculum enhance the learning process. The principal, Mrs. Cline is super helpful. Mrs. Hacket-Slimm is indeed one of the most incredible people there. In fact, all of the staff is miraculously amazing! I find PVS as an overly exciting school. The normal day is eight periods long, each one about forty-five minutes long. In 4th and 5th grades, you have ELA, which includes Spelling, Grammer, Writing, Comprehensive practice and reading. Math consists of typically 7-9 units. Algebra, Geometry, Decimals, Fractions and Measurements/Data are just a few. Social Studies has lessons like geography, history and more. Science consists of units like animals and plants, the human body, reactions and motion and chemical experiments! 6th grade has the same subjects, except the curriculum is a bit different. For all students or most students, PVS has five main special subjects: Gym, Art, Library, Spanish and Music. In gym, fitness is key! You have to do six different fitness gram tests. Each being Pacer Test, Sit-Ups, Push-Ups, Arm to Arm on your back (don't know real name) Trunk Lift and Sit and Reach. In library, you have access to circa 36,000 books. You will also have an annual Scholastic Book fair. The library has two very special 3D Printers. In art, you paint, color, carve, cut and paste and more! In Spanish, you well, learn Spanish! El despertador. Pasa la aspiradora. Busca. El Pato. See? In music, you can join choir for all grades. There is a winter and spring concert. At PVS, my favorite choice is to join band. Instruments are up like flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, barritone horn, tuba, drums and a few more! All students have their very own computer. Yearly, the Boostrerthon co. arrives. Also, Hoops for Hearts comes. The 5th graders can attend at the school spelling bee. If he win they go to the county, then state, then script! Also, there is a history bee and a geography bee. Track and field is amazing! Overall, PVS is amazing! Go there and you'll see...
