Representation sucks for custody 0/10 would not recommend. Thinking about going to the news channel to discuss the unfairness of my case under this firm. They let my childs mothers walk all over me.

I never thought I would have to retain a lawyer for the reason I had too ever in my life. But since I had to, I am glad I chose Cordell & Cordell. Anthony was my lawyer and he explained things clearly and logically and proceeded in a manner that was comfortable and acceptable for me. Most importantly, we won. Now I plan on rebuilding my life and I can do that without the worry of my ex pulling anymore stunts on me and my family. Very long story short I couldn't be happier with there services during a very unhappy time for me. From the secretary who was awesome to the billing department that explained my bill to me to the Lawyer assigned to my case it was more comfortable than I thought I could be.

Everything was handled at a high professional level. All aspects of divorce were explained every step of the way. I was never in any doubt that I was being represented properly and in a manner that suited my best interests. What I sought in a law firm was simple: professional aptitude, expediency, and reasonable cost. To this end, Cordell has met my expectations with the exception that I was a little surprised by the cost. My only complaint is that the attorney fee per hour increased once while in the middle of my divorce, and almost increased significantly a second time at the tail end of it. From the view of the client, the worst thing one can do is change attorney in the middle of a case, therefore the client feels a bit trapped to accept the increase. I'm sure this practice was covered in the legal fine print, but a client will always question whether something that can be done should actually be done. All this while hearing commercials on the radio regarding zero-fee initial consultations and overall cost cap from this firm, all benefits I was unable to benefit from since I was an existing client. My case was simple as far as divorces go, there was nothing to negotiate regarding children (I was told this is typically the most grueling and time consuming part of divorce cases), so the end cost was higher than I expected. That being said, I do not blame my attorney for the price increase, I'm quite sure it was a decision by the firm during inflationary times. My attorney was always professional, accommodating, understanding and knowledgeable, all the traits I was looking for in a divorce attorney. My attorney was the driving force that kept things moving along so that this entire process finishes sooner rather than later. I appreciate her efforts and I would highly recommend her to anyone that finds themselves in the unfortunate situation of divorce.

Lauren Hagovsky was great. She navigated me through this difficult period and help to avoid the pitfalls. Hope to never have to use her services again of course, however she is the only recommendation I would give to my friends and family.
