Rudest Shelter service I have ever dealt with. Was rejected, then mocked, after that Taunted with the cat we wanted (really shocking), then ignored. After seeing other reviews Im very concerned and sad for these animals. Not all people should be allowed to care for pets like some of these volunteers and staff. Its really a shame because these animals lose out on loving homes because of some random volunteer or employees rude attitude.

In doing what they thought was right they right they gave a dog away to whom many believe to be the wrong owners, when someone else went above and beyond to basically save this dog. I understand they had pictures and yada yada, they never once came forward in the months an entire town rallied to save this animal but you guys dont care, now that so many people were willing to help and they werent going to be in any trouble NOW they want their dog. I find this absolutely ridiculous and do not wish to support this type of negligence especially when the courts themselves are shocked to hear of this mystery owner. And its a shame to because i dont want animals to not be adopted but this isnt it either, Im heartbroken for everyone involved.

DO NOT ADOPT FROM THIS PLACE! They will come to your home and take your animal you rightfully adopted and not give you a refund. This place is a FRAUD. they took the puppy and relisted him with a new name!!!

Would give zero stars if I could. Horrible Experience. We were loving cat owners for many many happy years until ours passed away a few days after Christmas. After grieving for several months, my partner and I decided we were ready to look into adopting a new cat to fill our home with love and happiness again. We went into the Mount Laurel Petsmart, whos adoption programs are run by BCAA. We found a cat that we liked, took the time to fill out the application and we came back to double check on the status of such. The volunteer who worked there, Melissa, said that our application was denied because we said we wanted to have supervised outdoor time with the potential adoptee so they can experience nature. This is a super inappropriate response, because the animal would never be left alone, they would have up to date shots and frontline to protect them and to deprive an animal of a nature experience is borderline cruel. She then said she would help us after helping another group -- after waiting 20 mins she then proceeded to say we couldn't meet any other cats because we were denied over this simple matter. Wasted our time and efforts. She told me to email BCAA which I did and received NO response regarding this matter. This organization is turning loving homes away from animals who truly need it over remedial reasons. I would encourage everyone reading this to call them out on their BS.
