Have you seen us picketing at Lennar's new community The Collection at Morristown? Are you wondering what we're upset about? Here's the answer...- When Lennar sold the last unit in our community, Greenbriar at Fox Ridge in Rockaway, New Jersey we entered the Transition phase- the period of time when ownership transfers from Lennar to the Homeowners Association (HOA). - Our HOA hired an engineering firm to examine every inch of our community in order to identify any of Lennar's construction defects that remain. - Lennar is contractually obligated to repair these defects.- Thus far, Lennar has not only refused to repair THEIR construction defects they have also REFUSED to meet with our HOA Board. - We need Lennar to hold up their end and negotiate with our HOA in good faith. We are ready, willing, and eager to move forward. - Thus far, we have spent $400,000 in engineering and legal fees and have made zero progress moving through Transition. - We are in Lennar's rear view mirror as they are now only interested in building and selling three new communities within 20 minutes of ours.
