I am an 11 year patient of Dr. Smith hes very knowledgeable, friendly, and an overall great doctor. However, there is someone named Rita working the front desk now who is incredibly rude and unhelpful. The last two times I needed a prescription refilled, she refused to call it in because Im not going to sit on hold waiting for the pharmacy to pick up the phone. For my other prescriptions, refill requests are sent digitally, but they dont have that system set up so it needs to be done by phone which Rita refuses to do. I moved away 6 years ago and Dr. Smith has been seeing me via telemedicine and renewing my antidepressants that way. Today I called to make a telemed appointment to discuss the medication and get it refilled as Ive been doing for the last 6 years, and Rita told me Id have to come in. I told her thats not an option for me since I no longer live in the area, and that Dr. Smith has done telemed with me for years. She rudely said I understand you perfectly, but theres nothing I can do. I have 10 doses left of my medication so Im completely out of luck because theres no way I can find a new doctor in time. So I will go into antidepressant withdrawals because Rita refuses to let me speak to my doctor. This would otherwise be a place Id give 5 stars but Rita seems to take a sadistic delight in being unhelpful. I wonder if Dr. Smith knows she just cost him an 11 year patient I cant imagine hed be ok with this if he was aware of how she treated his clients. I would not recommend this practice lest you want to deal with the same problems when you need appointments or medications. Its a shame I have to leave such a great doctor because hes got a terrible receptionist.

Dr Smith is the best. Never rushes. Extremely knowledgeable and thorough. No corporate medical nonsense. Excellent practice

I have been a patient of Dr. Smith's for almost 20 years now and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my medical care. He always goes above and beyond to take care of any issues I may have. He treats you like family, not just the next patient in line. Also his staff have always been the best around and I can't sing their praises enough!

I was very glad to get an exam from Dr. Smith a few months ago, but lately he's impossible to reach. He appears to be retiring, as far as I can tell.
