The ONLY reason Im giving 1 star is because I have to select it for the rating. This is the worst customer experience I have ever had in my life. First, my tax professional was 17 minutes late for the appointment and showed up in sweatpants and crocs with a star pimple patch on their face. When they were told their 6 o clock appointment was waiting, the response was I have a client?. At this point I knew I should have left but I had already waited 20 minutes. I sit down and provide my documents and all they did was type on the computer. No conversation no nothing. No questions besides what was necessary to fill out the information. Meanwhile, I was listening to the two other professionals with their clients having a conversation while Im sitting in awkward silence. When the return was completed, it turned out I owed money. I owed money last year and usually file on Turbo Tax which is why I went to a professional in the first place so I can find out why and how to prevent owing money next year. I asked how much withholding I should add and was told as much as you can. THEN they tell me its $170 for the filing. That is more than I owed the government. No conversation. No advice. Did exactly the same thing I can do on turbo tax for double the price and the same amount of time. Then the receptionist was even rude as I was paying for NOTHING. I work in customer service and this experience was an abhorrent display and would be utterly unacceptable in my field. Do NOT come here, youre better off on turbo tax.
