image Sonny and his crew worked to repair sections of my slate roof. The price was fair, the service was prompt and professional, and CNJ Construction gave me a 2-year transferable warranty. I am still waiting for the next hard rainfall to know if our problems were fixed. To be updated if not. Service: Roof repair

image I just love how this company makes shit up to try and cover their ass. Every reply is how the "other" roofer's didn't do the proper job.  The audacity to suggest that I wanted them to use my 10 year old left over shingles on a over priced $ 3.700.00 job is unfathomable.  I could go on and on, but what's the point?  Look at review's and make your own decision.  As for me, I got taken.  I'm sure there will be another come back from these people to try and cover their lack of professionalism!

image I had a verbal and written agreement for Central New Jersey Construction and Roofing Company (CNJ) to completely replace my 2 roofs(including the plywood and base sheet) in my multifamily property on January 20, 2022. Purchase price was $14K. Within 5 days of installation, there was heavy leakage in my 2nd unit living room ceiling and wall. I communicated with the CNJ Manager (Sonny) to please have my roof repaired since I have a 30 year warranty with them, and Sonny claimed it was not his company's problems. After 2 weeks of persistent begging to fix the problem, one of his men (Jesus) came by and I was told the problem was fixed by the manager Sonny. Bear in mind they said they fixed a siding issue , which they said they did out of courtesy, but they still did not replace the plywood and basement they stated they would do on my roofs. Months later in June 2022 when I had structural engineers on my roof for a separate task (drawing design for a fire escapeinstallation), they noted structural deficiencies that were done by CNJ. Since they were not experts, I consulted with 2 Roofing companiesfor a second opinion, and they also noted severe structural deficiencies and poor roofing installation to the roofs that posed a hazard. Theseconsulting roofing companies stated that CNJ Roofing company never replaced the the old base sheet, nor did they replace my old plywood aswas documented in the purchase agreement/invoice. They also did not secure enough flashing for my torchdown roofs, which likely contributedto the ceiling and wall leakage in 1/2022. The consulting roofing companies also mentioned that I will have another  imminent leak around the sameplace I had a leak due to a roof dip that was caused by how CNJ installed the roof.  These 2 roofing companies declined me as their client for repairs because they did not want to held responsible for any structural in-depth work that CNJ never addressed.I was very apprehensive when I heard the news, and so Icontacted CNJ Sonny again, and this time his response was "Move on, your roof is fine" This poor roof installation is not only something that iscurrently compromising the structural integrity of my property, but it is something that will pose a health concern if not addressed.I have been requesting for CNJ to either repair my roofs property ( with new plywood and base membrane) , or give me a refund so I can "move on" and find a legitimate roofing company to properly replace my roofs, but I have been met with nothing but disrespect, condensation, and silence in between. I AM WARNING YOU TO BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY, AND THINK TWICE BEFORE WORKING WITH THEM, IRRESPECTIVE OF WHAT THE RATINGS SHOW

image Very disappointed. Price far too high for the poor work and materials. Quote doesn't match what we discussed. Took several months to make good. Get multiple price quotes first.

image Wanted to make sure I posted this review, so that the same thing doesn't happen to another Philadelphia resident. On Nov 5. 2021 - I paid CNJ roofing $3,500 bc I got a leak on the ceiling. I didn't know what caused the leak, and I wanted a professional to make sure that the roof was in good shape and would require any other repairs. I was pretty sure all that needed to be done was some sealing where the leak happened, but I thought for once, don't be cheap and take the professional recommendation, so I did.~93 days later, Feb 9th - we get another leak. This time I'm pretty upset since that means more repairs and also how is that possible? The roof was just fixed by Mike at CNJ and he went on forever about how they're best in biz, family owned & offer warranties on all their work.I called mike back, sent screenshots of the payment asking for him to come back out. He sends someone out, quotes another 2K this time and says, they need to sel the roof and last time all the did was RE-sheet the top.I tell him, I'm a small landlord who doesn't have another 2 grand AND he said if they were any issues he'd cover. He started swearing at me saying I'm disrespecting "his work" and "his time" - he called his worked off the roof and told him to stop working.Last but not least, The worker (Jesus)he told to stop working, walks over to my car and tells me he'll finish the work if I can pay him $800 in cash????DONT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY
