Very rude staff!! My wife and I are new to Metuchen. We called the office to book an appointment as a new client. We were informed that without a picture ID with our current address we would not be able to schedule an appointment. When I offered them to come in with a proof of address they said if I cant provide a photo ID as federal law stipulates then we cant be a customer of theirs. When I asked which federal law requires a photo ID with an address listed I was then hung up on. When I called back for an explanation I was treated poorly again and hung up on. All this mind you while keeping a calm tone and being rather nice considering how I was being treated. They seemed to take joy in denying me service. May well be a great obgyn but well never know because we treated like dirt by their staff. Such a shame.

This practice needs to be dismantled. They treat women as baby factories and put their health second. They are literally the real life Handmaids Tale. When I was ab 17/18 I was suffering from horrible, painful periods and wanted something permanent bc I did not want kids. The doctor literally laughed at me and then gave me Yasmin which cause multiple, repeated reoccurring DVT's. Well I am now 34 and still don't have or want a kid and have serious health problems from taking birth control. I am on blood thinners for life and suffered enormous negative consequences from taking Yasmin. The doctors in this practice are reckless. They care more about a woman procreating then her actual health.

I asked for an appointment one month ago. Today when I went to see the doctor I was told that I need a picture ID with my home address. All my ID have my PO Box address. It was so unreasonable the secretary that she did not want to see any document with my home address, as a result I did not see the doctor but I heard he is very good.

Dr. Ainslie has always been wonderful! He delivered all 3 of my kids who are now in their thirties! Great doctor with expertise and compassion!

Dr. Ainslie has been my GYN for decades. ALways received excellent professional and personal care.
