I called because two bedrooms’ upstairs heat wasn’t working. Two plumbers came and went down to the basement. Came right back up and said motor was shot and it would be an easy and quick fix. I said, well, how much is the motor. He said couple hundred. I said what is a couple hundred. He said like 200. I said ok fine. He went and got the piece from his truck. Came right back in and went down to the basement. In 10 minutes they come back up and ask for my name and I start to get ready to pay and he said no, you get a bill. I said wow ok (thinking it would be $400-$400 tops-labor/material). They didn’t even check if the heat was working so I assumed it did. I went upstairs. Nope, icy cold in the bedrooms. You can understand how upset I am. I called back saying my heat isn’t working still. They come back in an hour or so. They go back downstairs and then upstairs looking remorseful. It wasn’t the motor that was the issue. It just needed to be flushed out/circulated because of the air? I didn’t need my motor replaced at all! Now you can really understand how upset I am but glad they finally fixed the problem. Two weeks later the bill comes. I open it up and it’s a whopping $870 bill. Two hours labor? I think not! They were here 45 minutes total. First time was 15 minutes; second turnaround 30 minutes! Why am I being charged two hours of labor when the first time they did not perform their duty sufficiently? Also, the motor is $450?? What happened to $200? Kelly Plumbing does not earn a professional and quality performance to me, and I hope this review can help anyone who is looking up a decent plumbing company. I feel conned and swindled, not a great feeling in this time of the health and global crisis, depressed me even more to get that invoice in the mail. I called yesterday upon receiving the bill;hopefully, they can understand from my point and come to a mutual understanding. Will keep this review updated.
