AHR Design Solutions

We used Juan & AHR for a new home we bought in Red Bank and were very happy with the outcome. The work he and his crew did for us wasn’t major but was pretty extensive and included a full house interior paint & skim-coat (it was a 120 year old house so some spots needed the skim-coat more than others), two new custom bannisters, half bath complete demo/remodel, replace 14 light fixtures, install window coverings, a handful of custom carpentry solutions that would be difficult to explain here, misc bathroom reno stuff, installation of hydro baseboard heating in finished basement, smart switches & Nest install, and probably a handful of other things I’m forgetting at the moment. Unfortunately I don’t have pictures of everything that was done but the work was done very well, especially for the price. In fact, we ended up doing about double what we initially planned once we saw the cost to results outcome, it was worth dipping into our savings a bit. There was one issue with communication and a delay at one point which was quite an inconvenience at the time of our move, but the reason this is still a 5-star review is that while this can always happen, we appreciated the way that it was addressed and made right. There are always going to be things like that which come up along the way, but it really comes down to how its addressed and resolved, and we felt that Juan went above and beyond in that regard. We added a couple of pics below, which for context the walls looked pretty bad before we moved in and the house was much darker/dated looking (besides the kitchen which came mostly done) than it is now, post renovation - we get so many compliments on how nice the place turned out, if you want to see before pics, just message us and ask. So to sum up we would definitely use AHR’s services again (and likely will to re-do our garage etc.), and sorry Juan for taking so long to do this, busy time of year! Juan and his team did a great job on some light renovation work. Cut stone and Installed downdraft despite some complexities that came up, gutter protection, drywall tear down. They were consistently on time and didn’t require micro management - once you explained what you wanted they knew how to get it done, but also asked for feedback when different options came up. There was some miscommunication on a more complex part of the project but Juan remedied the situation. He was honest and accountable, and checked in throughout the project to make sure things were going well. We are hoping to use Juan and his team for additional work in the future, thanks for all the hard work

AHR Design Solutions remodeled our bathroom. Our home was built in 1923 and the few issues of doing a remodel on an older house were handled quickly. The team works clean and was respectful of the property (inside & out). The quality of the workmanship was excellent & it was made a priority that we were happy at every step in the process. Thanks to Juan Carlos the front of the house looks magnificent. The landscape done in the front of the house plus the trimming to the front door change the whole look of my house to a different level. The family room looks better than before he was able to manage my budget in a way to make everything looks perfect. He is very creative with what exactly you want to accomplish with your budget. He is dedicated to his job and very professional I'll be posting picture of before and after In the summer time I'll be contacting him to do a phase 2 in my house which will be painting the outside of my house plus some window trimming I recommend him very much for all your work at home or anywhere you might need somebody with creative ideas Once again He did it Convert my half bathroom to a full new bathroom with shelf Super beautiful He even pick the waterfall faucet that does wonder when taking a shower Very detail person and creative Just let him do his work Perfect Another update on the house made by Juan Carlos and his crew He update the family room and bedroom
