Stewart's Restaurant

This is a small "mom and pop" style place. The food though is outstanding. It isn't frozen pre-cooked or packaged meat tossed on a grill. Definitely recommend. I could see how if they were busy it would be slow service but keep in mind for only 9-10 tables many waiters is not practical from a business point of view. Definitely a favorite!

Service slow. Only 1 wait staff & 1 cook. No bus staff. Had to stare @ several dirty tables the entire meal, while crammed into a smaller booth in the corner. No one cleared used dishes or cups from our table during the meal. Root beer float came out too far ahead of meal. Forgot our water. Appetizer came out within 30 seconds of the whole meal. Food was hot, burgers juicy & tasty. Root beer float in an icy mug was the best!

UPDATE: As of mid-January 2014, it looks like this location has closed its doors. It's a shame - not all good things were meant to last, it seems. Clean, family-friendly, inexpensive, and, most importantly, "dog-gone good!" What I love about this Stewart's location is the ingredients and the preparation of one of the best burgers and fries I've ever had in my life so far! I'd have to really be impressed to go that far into saying that and only Five Guys Burgers & Fries, another burgers & fries chain that I favour, got such a thing from me. Perfect locked-on juices of the meat, the fresh and perfectly cooked bacon, and great fries to seal the deal... and really awesome classic root beer in a mug. All for an excellent low price—Not more than $10. I thought they deserved more, so a tip for both the waitress and cook it was! The restaurant is well-maintained throughout all parts of the day. By that, I mean definitely clean, young yet classic, and ready for anyone. That means even a family - I'd take them here, even if they were visiting. No shame, my guilty pleasure – it's great!
