Warning! Do not pay this contractor before the job is finished. They walked away from my flooring project without finishing it and will not respond to multiple efforts to contact them. Too bad, as what they did do was quality work but to not finish is blatant dishonesty. Mitch is two faced, beware!

We had Mitch come in for a quote on a house project. He took measurements and talked a lot about his company. He never got back to us at all. I tried calling,emails and leaving voice messages several times, but never heard from him again. I guess our project wasn't good enough for him.

My wife made an appointment nearly 4 weeks ago to have an estimate for a renovation of our kitchen. Owner came to the house sat down for nearly 2 hours and discussed the scope of the project. At the time he was very well spoken and provided much information and ideas on where to move forward. Told us that he would have an design and estimate to us within 7 to 10 Business days. We are now going on over 4 weeks with with no estimates or phone calls. Unfortunately, this is not the first time for ourselves we had tried to reach out to this company back in 2018. But we were willing to give a second chance and from what we've heard from others, this is not uncommon.

This is an update in response to your reply. I do respect how well you monitor various review sites as you quickly made a call to my wife this morning. In respect to my review. My wife did notify me that you would like to reach out to us. During my conversation with my wife, she had told me that you had called and left a message on March 18th. Unfortunately we have no record of that call being made. She went ahead and double-checked all of her voicemails as well as the call log within her phone and even went so far to pull it up on our account. That is here nor there, but I would feel that after spending 8 hours on an estimate. If you didn't receive a return call, there would be a follow-up to the customer. I would be more than happy to sit down with you and review the estimate once you are back in the office.

Mr. From, I am sorry. This is very, very troubling as Mitch was at your home 3/12. That same night all of the notes along with photos of your existing kitchen were sent to Craig, our designer. Craig then spent about 3 hours working laying out your kitchen based on the conversation Mitch had with Whitney. On 3/17 Craig sent Mitch the cabinet allowance along with color renderings of your kitchen as well as all of the available accessories that could go along with that particular cabinet line. Mitch then spent about 2 hours writing a detailed quote for your kitchen remodel. Our quotes are very detailed and inclusive to give you a complete "turn key" job. Mitch completed your quote on the 19th and left a voicemail for Whiteny to set up a 15-20 minute appointment with you both to review the renderings and go over the quote step by step. Kitchens are a 3 step process prior to any client ever signing an agreement as we want to dot our i's and cross our t's as kitchens are the heart of your home. It is Spring and like all contractors phones are ringing with good quality calls and of course inquiries for jobs that you not in our scope of work. I apologize if for some reason Whiteny did not receive our message or possibly had forgotten to return the call back. Regardless Mitch didn't realize it until this morning when you left this review. However we do keep records of emails and phone calls in and out. We are very disheartened as we are a small business with employees that all have families to support and the fact that you did not simply call prior to leaving a review is what is disheartening. From the day we met Mitch, we liked him and his business plan. He came into our house and spent as much time as we needed to discuss our wants/needs for our home renovation. Although we had 5 estimates and he wasn't our cheapest quote, we knew we were going to use his company, as he shared our vision with us. We had our kitchen remodeled from the studs, a wall blown out, and new flooring, as well as crown molding and a few other smaller things. His guys Jeru & Adrian came on a daily basis and it was almost like they were family members for the time they spent here. Their work was VERY high quality and they took their time to make sure everything was perfect. The quote he gave us was what we paid. There weren't any surprises. And if something small came up, Mitch made sure he took care of it. Anyone who comes to visit our home comments on how beautiful the kitchen is, even 2 years later. Meck Brother's would be our first choice if we have any other home improvements. Thank you, Mitch!!
