Barnabas Health Retail Pharmacy at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center

Woman at the cash register is very rude and loud. I was paying in cash because that is all I had and she yelled at me stating "exact change only thats what the signs are for!" I am partially blind miss, you are in a hospital, have some respect and understanding that others may not see your sign as some people have disabilities! I expected more from a pharmacy in a hospital. After she said that, I was appalled and just left. Clearly you woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Do not take your frustration out on customers.

The homepage states "At Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (formerly Saint Barnabas Medical Center), we are committed to quality and excellence in patient care. Our goal is to exceed your expectations and to provide you with an environment that is conducive to healing and promotes patient safety. The Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center management and staff abide by the philosophy that all patients are to be treated with respect, dignity, and sensitivity". I will try not to bash anyone, but I believe Management needs to review the statement above and speak to the patients to understand if they believe the statement is true. From my perspective, I do not believe this hospital is living up to its standard because I have family at the hospital complaining about the lack of care. However, I believe you all have the potential to live up to this standard. Management....do your jobs, find the issues, fix them, and ensure your patients get the quality and excellence in patient care you talk about.
